Vital Statistics: Tristan was born at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA, on April 25th, 1996. He weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20.5 inches long. He took 36 hours to arrive, and his mother still hasn't forgiven him! There was never a more affectionate or sensitive child; after watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in excess of 1,000 times, he still cries at the scene where she is uh, sleeping. He is an extraordinarily wonderful big brother, frequently exclaiming "Granty, you are the smartest, best baby in the whole world!" |

We think this is an excellent representation of Tristan, since if he is nearby, you generally want to make sure his mouth is covered!

Tristan has great singleness of mind. What I mean is, he gets obsessed with something and simply can't drop it until he has completely mastered the topic. It's very annoying, but gives you a great window of opportunity to teach him on a subject. He developed a Batman fixation when Grant brought "Brown Batman" to Tristan (from the depths of his mother's womb, mind you! Then it was sea animals. Now it is anything patriotic, American, and particularly war. Primarily WWII, with a similar interest in the Civil War. Dwight D. Eisenhower (he always includes the "D") is the current superhero! -September 4, 2002- |
